A Bundoora Home Rebuild
Darren and Steve’s recent project rebuild in Bundoora is one that has just blown us away. It is an incredible transformation of a cottage style house into a stunning modern Hampton home – fit for any family. We had a chat with them about how the project unfolded and what they love about using our tiles in the bathroom.
Q: Talk us through the project – what condition was the house/room before renovating? Did you have to make any major structural changes?
A: This project was a complete knock down rebuild. The original house was a 1960’s 3 bedroom bungalow style house.

Q: What is the style of the home now and what’s your favourite feature in it?
A: The style is Hamptons.
There are so many! This was a job that we poured our heart and soul into. Months of research went into every decision we made, especially when it came to fixtures and fittings throughout the home. We honestly treated this build as if it were something we were going to keep and we think that, that really shows with the final product. The light filled proportions throughout the house have to be a favourite.
Q: What Elegance Store did you buy your tiles from?
A: Elegance Tiles Thomastown – Brody was a legend!
Q: Which tiles did you purchase?
A: For bathrooms – Veneto Bianco 600×600 and White Subway Matt
