We spoke to Kathyn Lococo about a recent project Lococobuild completed in Torquay on the Surf Coast Shire of Melbourne. From an 80’s surf shack to a beautiful coastal bush home, we spoke to Kathyn about the renovation. 

Q: First Tell Us About Lococo Build! 

A: Lococo Build is a family run business based in Torquay. We specialise in Extensions and Renovations along the Surf Coast. Anthony (Builder & Director) and Kathryn Lococo (husband and wife) run the business. We have a wonderful team of people that work with us, in house Interior Designer Hannah Allen @hannahalleninteriors who guided clients with colour selection.

Q: Talk Us Through Project Grieves – What Condition Was the House Before Renovating? 

A: The home was in original condition built in the 80’s, outdated interior in need of updating and modernising. Clients were looking to add another level to the home which we did by adding a new master bedroom with ensuite. There were works to home by adding extra support through the floor.

Q: What Is The Style of The Home Now? 

A: Modern Australian Bush/Coastal Home. Living area and new kitchen perfect for entertaining and relaxing in front of the fireplace with amazing views of Anglesea.

Q: Which Tile Store Did You Go To? 

A: We were served by the wonderful Team at Elegance Tiles Geelong/Surfcoast and used their tiles through all the bathrooms, kitchen splashback and laundry splashback!
